The Parnassus Civic League Welcome to Historic Parnassus

Weed and Seed and New Kensington's Neighborhood Watch organizations are holding a meeting on July 23rd at 6:30PM in council chambers at City Hall.  The event will feature a speaker involved with Erie, PA's Neighborhood Watch organization, which has been in operation for over 10 years. 

As we begin to get our own Neighborhood Watch group organized, these meetings provide a chance for us to hear about what other groups are doing and seeing in their neighborhoods.  Part of NW is maintaining awareness of activity in our own neighborhood.  Doing that successfully is easier if we know what is already happening and what is being seen in other parts of the community.  If we know what others are seeing as problems, then we can watch for the same issues.  Attending meetings like this one help us to keep our NW group and our neighbors up-to-date on current happenings.  If you are able, and especially if you are interested in helping our NW group grow, this is a good meeting to attend.
